About the Author

Jane Mizrahi, LICSW

 

Jane is a licensed social worker and founder of GroupsWorks, a counseling center in Providence, RI. She provides trauma-sensitive, body-based therapy to individuals and families. In her group and individual therapy program, Jane helps her clients heal from their emotional pain and empowers them to live their best lives.

The writing of Choreograph Your Wellness evolved out of the intensity of 2020.  It was fueled by the pain of Covid-19 combined with the effects of social and economic injustice and the rise of authoritarianism and an alternative information ecosystem.

​

Besides being a therapist and writer, Jane is an activist and yoga practitioner. She lives in RI with her husband, Michael. After raising their two adult sons, they enjoy hiking with their furballs Jazz and Coco while allowing their cat, Bodhi, to rule the roost.
